Terms Of Use
Using the site means you accept these terms. They come down to this: it is a demonstration, it uses your processor while it runs, and nothing on it is a way to take anyone’s bitcoin.
In effect from 16 October 2026.

What this site is
Brute Force Bitcoin is an educational demonstration. It guesses random Bitcoin private keys in your browser and checks them against a list of funded addresses to show, with real numbers, why that never works. It is free, and there is nothing to buy.
Not a way to take bitcoin
The site has no feature to import, sweep, send or spend bitcoin, and will never have one. It never shows the key behind a match.
Bitcoin at an address belongs to whoever holds its key. If the board ever reports a funded match, that report gives you no right to the coins, and trying to move them would be taking someone else's property. Do not use this site, or anything you learn from it, to try to reach funds that are not yours.
Your device
While the board is running it uses every processor core your browser offers it, as hard as it can. That drains batteries, warms laptops and can slow other work. You start and stop it, and closing the tab stops it completely. You use it at your own discretion.
The numbers
The figures on the site are worked out from a snapshot of funded addresses (Blockchair data, via addresses.loyce.club) and from public facts such as the size of the key space. Address checks come from blockstream.info. We take care to get them right, but third-party data can be late or wrong, and we cannot guarantee any figure.
Not financial advice
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or security advice. If you hold bitcoin, take advice about keeping it safe from someone qualified to give it.
Using the site fairly
Please do not try to disrupt the site, flood or falsify the running total, or get around the limits on how often it asks blockstream.info about an address. We may block traffic that does.
Other sites
The site links to and asks questions of services it does not run, blockstream.info among them. Their own terms and policies apply to them, and we are not responsible for them.
No warranty, and limits on liability
The site is provided as is and as available, without any warranty. To the fullest extent the law allows, Brute Force Bitcoin is not liable for any loss or damage arising from using it, or from being unable to use it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and using the site after a change means you accept the new version.
